Preparation for labour as a couple, fun & connection for both partners
What is it?
Pregnancy and childbirth are unique and the most precious moments. On your journey to becoming a mother you are not alone. Your birthing partner is there to support you, so bring him or her to the yoga class! This may be the other parent but also your friend, sister or mother. After all, you will need their support the most when the baby arrives and for many years ahead! In prenatal partner class we will learn the techniques that you can use together during pregnancy and labour, such as the best poses for childbirth, tips and tricks to alleviate pain, breathing techniques, meditations and visualisations. We will also go over the onset of labour, beginning and progression of the contractions. This class will help you and your partner to comprehend what is going on during the labour and how to keep it as relaxed as possible and turn something you may be feeling anxious about right now into a positive experience. This class takes place once a month upon demand.
